On 1 December 2023, close to 50 M-DAQers and their family members took time off a Friday morning to participate at the annual M-DAQ Beach Cleanup Day organised by the M-DAQ Sustainability Taskforce. The group split into three teams to cover Section D of the East Coast Park and managed to fill more than 10 bags of trash in the span of over an hour.
While the initiative may seem like a tiny drop in the ocean, it was a timely reminder that every small action counts. Building a sustainable, greener future for all requires the commitment and effort from each and every one of us, and collectively, even the smallest ripples can create the greatest waves.
