In addition to the webinar, M-DAQ also collaborated with Payoneer and SMU FinTech to organise a case competition for university students in Singapore. Students were issued a problem statement and challenged to propose new ideas on how to reinvent traditional processes in e-commerce. The competition provided an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and expertise in the field of financial technology.

The competition was divided into two phases. In Phase 1, students were required to write a proposal on an untapped opportunity that M-DAQ Global and Payoneer could leverage to power the new age of Web3.0 e-commerce. The top 10 teams were then selected to move on to Phase 2 where they were given feedback and exclusively mentored by M-DAQ and Payoneer’s fintech experts in preparation for the final pitch presentation.

The prizes for the competition were as follows: 1st prize - $2500, 2nd prize - $1500, 3rd prize - $1000. In first place, we had Woon Advisory, with the all-female team Tic Tech Toe in second place and Fungible.io in third. We applaud the teams for being such amazing and driven participants. Congratulations to the winning teams, and our heartfelt thanks to all who participated.
