M-DAQ Global Appoints Senior Leader to Spearhead Strategic Growth in Malaysia

[28 August 2024, Singapore] - M-DAQ Global Pte. Ltd. (“M-DAQ Global”), a Singapore-headquartered fintech group specialising in cross-border foreign exchange and payments solutions, announced today the appointment of Reynels Lee as the Head of Malaysia of M-DAQ Global. This strategic appointment follows M-DAQ Global's recent acquisition of Easy Pay Transfers Sdn. Bhd. (“Easy Pay Transfers”), a Malaysia-based payments service provider, further strengthening the Group’s presence in the region. In addition, Founder & CEO of Easy Pay Transfers Sdn. Bhd. Jared Ang will also relinquish his former role and serve as the Non-executive Chairman of MDAQ Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., as part of the board to oversee the business unit’s strategic execution for sustainable growth and risk and compliance control.
Reynels brings close to 30 years of experience in the financial services and technology industries, with a robust background in driving business growth and strategic market expansion. Prior to this, Reynels has held the role of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at ACE Money Exchange Sdn. Bhd.. In his new role, he will oversee M-DAQ Global’s operations in Malaysia, focusing on enhancing the company’s offerings in the region.
