M-DAQ and Wallex Make a Splash at Year-End Bash
M-DAQ and Wallex came together for a greatly anticipated year-end party as part of employee engagement efforts.

The year-end party, held at Novelty Bizcentre’s sky terrace, was a pool party with the theme ‘Summer Vibes’, perfect for the scorching Singapore weather.
The collective effort of M-DAQ and Wallex employees came to fruition in an upbeat night of games, drinks, and karaoke sessions in the year-end party on the 21st of October. The party, which took place after months of meticulous in-house planning, provided a starting point for both teams to know each other on a deeper level and to create a cohesive work environment.
On the day of the party, our employees swarmed into the venue the moment it hit 5PM. Dressed to the nines in their tropical outfits, our employees were greeted with swimming floats decked across the pool, a sumptuous buffet spread, a karaoke area, a cocktail bar with beer taps — and the star of the show, a tastefully curated grazing table put together from scratch by our very own colleagues.
The party kicked off with introductory speeches by our Founder and Group CEO, Richard Koh, as well as CEO of Wallex, Hiro Kiga. Water games were held, and our employees formed teams to partake in the thrills and spills as they beat the heat. At 8PM, our HR director got the ball rolling by singing the first song at the karaoke booth, ushering in a night of soulful singing by many of our team.
Lastly, we concluded the night on a high note with a much-anticipated lucky draw event. The top prize, an iPhone 14 Pro (1TB), garnered much excitement from the attendees.
The year-end party symbolised M-DAQ’s effort in embodying our values of seeing our employees as indispensable members of the family. We are heartened to see how much our employees enjoyed and mingled during the party — many of them continued their karaoke sessions late into the night. We're certainly looking forward to see our large family come together in a night of fun again!
